Eleanor S. (Maske) Harman

Eleanor Sarah (Maske) Harman, age 93, of Petersburg, WV passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg. West Virginia

 Mrs. Harman was born October 8, 1926 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Floyd E. Maske Sr. and Laura Belle (Crites) Maske.  In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eston Harman Sr. on September 18, 1991; one brother, Floyd E. Maske Jr. and one sister, Beulah Hawley.  Eleanor was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Eleanor is survived by two sons, Vernon (Teena) Harman of Petersburg, WV and Marcus Harman of Petersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Paul (Rosie) Harman and Brandee (Patrick) Chapman; four great grandchildren, Dylan (Maddie) Chapman, Mackenzee Chapman, Katelyn Harman and Chasyn Harman; two step great grandchildren, Patrick Chapman and Joseph Chapman; one step great-great granddaughter; Ursula; and a special caregiver, Wilma Judy.  

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to craft, sew, crochet and horseback ride. Her goal was to ride a horse on her 100th birthday.  She enjoyed putting puzzles together, tending to her flowers and eating out with her family. 

Eleanor was a faithful member of North Mill Creek Baptist Church, Dorcas, West Virginia.

Due to the present health concerns, there will be no public visitation.  All services and interment will be private in North Mill Creek Cemetery, Dorcas, West Virginia.
