Elaine K. (Kessel) Inskeep

Elaine Katherine (Kessel) Inskeep, age 81 of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Elaine was born on April 11, 1944, in Cumberland, MD and was the daughter of the late Otis Boyd Kessel and Katherine G. (Lewis) Kessel.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Philip W. “Bud” Inskeep in 2022 and a brother, Jimmy E. Kessel.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Stacie L. Inskeep of Hedgesville, WV.

Elaine was a 1962 graduate of Petersburg High School and attended Shepherd College.  She worked at the former Potomac Valley Bank in Petersburg and was a Title I Aide at the Petersburg Elementary School. Elaine was a member of the Petersburg First Baptist Church.

In Honoring Elaine’s wishes all services will be private.
