Obituary
Dudley Ross Phelps, age 68, of Petersburg, WV passed this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from complications of a stroke.
Dudley was born on October 13, 1953 in Washington, DC and was the son of the late John Warren Phelps and Mary Doris (Ross) Phelps. In addition to his parents, Dudley was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronald E. Mace and former wife Donna Law Phelps.
Dudley is survived by his two sisters, Joan Phelps Mace of Maysville, WV and Barbara Darraugh (Jim) of Fairport, NY; three nephews, Brendon Darraugh, Wallace Buddington, and John Buddington; his niece, Jesse Eng; his ex-wife, Patty Phelps of Mooresville, NC.
Honoring Dudley’s wishes, his body will be cremated. Other services will be private.
