Donna N. (Martin) Fridley

Donna Nadine (Martin) Fridley, age 72, of Mount Storm, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Donna was born on May 31, 1950 in Kingwood, WV and was a daughter of the late Curtis Edgar Martin and Donna Louise (Shaffer) Martin.  In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by one daughter, Charmin Lynn Fridley; one brother, Delmas W. Martin.                    

Donna is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frederick Allen Fridley whom she married on May 22,1968; two sons Michael  Fridley (Dorothy) of Scherr, WV and Chad Fridley (Tammy) of Mount Storm, WV; five grandchildren, Alexis Fridley, Danielle Fridley, Dustin Fridley, Wyatt Fridley and Samantha Fridley; two brothers, Dwight Martin  (Margaret) of Gormania, WV and Brian Martin (Monica) of Oakland, MD; one sister, Janet  Bennett (Ted)  of Riverton, WV; sister-in-law, Susan Martin of Gormania, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna was a graduate of Union High School class of 1968. She retired as custodian at  Union Educational  Complex.  She was a Christian by faith. 

Donna’s passion was her family and enjoyed vacationing.  She was known as Mammaw to her grandchildren. 

Donna’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. 

Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 1 PM at Calvary Temple, Mount Storm, WV with Pastor Gloria Georg and Pastor Eric Georg officiating.

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Mount Storm, WV
