Donald R. Mallow, Jr.

Donald Ray “Donnie” Mallow Jr., age 60 of Woodbridge, VA passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 as a result of a vehicle accident.

 Donnie was born on November 30, 1963 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Donald Ray “Sonny” Mallow Sr. and Sandra Lee “Punky” (Kimble) Mallow of Woodbridge, VA.

Donnie is survived by his parents, one daughter, Rachel Lynne Mallow of Spotsylvania, VA; former wife, Debbie Mallow; one brother, Eric Lee Mallow and wife, Jennifer of Woodbridge, VA; Donnie’s girlfriend, Tracy Olander and her son, Michael Freeze and her granddaughter, Dahlia Freeze; one nephew, Eric Mallow Jr. and wife, Ashley and one niece, Callie Mallow. Also surviving several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Donnie worked with his family’ business, Mallow’s Construction in Woodbridge, VA. He was a member of Woodbridge Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson and most of all spending time with his daughter Rachel, his girlfriend Tracy and friends and family.

Donnie was preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents, Delmar and Laura Mallow; Maternal grandparents, Glenn and Arvella Kimble; three uncles, Bob Mallow, Virgil “Jug” Mallow and Ralph “Ping” Mallow; Tracy’s son, Aaron Olander.

Donnie’s family will receive family and friends on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. 

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with  Pastor Brian Henson officiating. 

Interment will be in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
