Donald R. Evans, Sr.

 Donald Ray Evans Sr., age 80 of Maysville died on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

 Donald was born on February 22, 1944 in Cabins, WV and was a son of the late Ernest William Evans and Delphia Mae (Alt) Evans. 

 In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Lynn and three brothers, Paul Jacob Evans, Eugene “Sammy” Evans and Adam Kee Evans.

 Donald is survived by one daughter, Crystal Lynn Amos of Junior, WV; one son, Donald Ray “Buster” Evans II of Maysville, WV; two grandchildren, Dalton Ray Amos and Cameron Ray Evans; one sister, Lucy Nazelrodte of Harrisonburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.

 Donald attended Petersburg High School and went to Gaithersburg, MD where he was a carpenter for several years. In the early 80's Donald moved back to West Virginia and was a logger. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting.

 All services will be private.
