Dice Mallow, age 83, of Petersburg, WV went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, West Virginia.
Dice was born on June 27, 1939 in Onego, WV and was a son of the late Harry Vance and Kate Mallow. In addition to his parents, Dice was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Sue (Mallow) Turner. He was also preceded by his grand-dogs, Bandit, Smokey, Diamond and Harlee.
Dice is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol (Nelson) Mallow, two sons, Michael Anthony (Wendy) Mallow of Fredericksburg, VA and Bradley Dice (Beth) Mallow of Petersburg, WV; one brother, Roy (Judy) Mallow of Maysville, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dice was a graduate of Circleville High School class of 1959. He relocated to Northern Virginia and he was a general superintendent for Harkins Builders and retired from CHS Inc in 2004. Dice and Carol enjoyed woodworking along with fishing, hunting, NASCAR racing, and driving his Corvette in the Tri-County Fair Parade.
He attended Lahmansville United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5 – 8 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Schaeffer Funeral Home with the Reverends Roger and Ann Harrison officiating.
Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, 6385 Patterson Creek Road, Lahmansville, WV 26731.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Lahmansville United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society or Charity of Donor’s Choice.
