Della M. (Kisamore) Carr

Della Marie (Kisamore) Carr, age 79 of Burlington, WV passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her home. She was born September 6, 1941 in Seneca Rocks, WV and was a daughter of the late Floyd Kisamore and Rosa Pearl (Kimble) Kisamore.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosalee Choate and Ressie Bible and one brother, Jacob “Bud” Kisamore.

Della is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hansel D. Carr; two sons, Daniel Carr of Burlington, WV and Thomas (Carla) Carr of Centreville, VA; two daughters, Brenda (Donald) Massey of Edinburg, VA and Samanthia (Wayne) Coffey of Warrenton, VA; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four sisters, Rettie (Roger Lee) Barger of Maysville, WV, Gloria Bennett of Cabins, WV, Mae Goldizen of Charleston, WV and Hazel Smith of New York; three brothers, Dayton (Beachie) Kisamore of Cabins, WV,  Denton (Eunice) Kisamore of Seneca Rocks, WV and Floyd Kisamore Jr. of Orange, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 5, 2021 at 1 PM at Lighthouse Community Church Maysville, WV with the Rev. Robert E. Rexrode officiating.  Family will receive friends from 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM. 

Burial will be in the Hansel Carr Family Cemetery, near her home in Burlington, WV.
