DJ is survived by his father, Davey (Connie) Borror and his mother, Elizabeth “Liz” Schultz; one son, David Zaiden Borror; paternal grandmother, Patsy (Jimmy) Yokum of Petersburg, WV; paternal great grandmother, Helen Hyre of Petersburg, WV; maternal grandmother, Rosemary St. Onge of Green Valley, AZ; maternal grandfather, James Anthony (Sandra “Sue”) Schultz of Gretna, LA;  two sisters, Klowie Rose Schultz of Petersburg, WV and Jessica Hedrick of Cabins, WV; two brothers, Dakota Borror of Petersburg, WV and McKale Scott Schultz of Petersburg, WV; numerous aunts and uncles,  Kevin (Stacey) Borror, James F. Schultz, Daniel Schultz, Peter Schultz and Shannon Palmisano; two nieces, Hailey Borror and McKynlee Rohrbaugh and several special cousins, including Colin Borror, Dennis Borror, Joshua Schultz, Jacob Schultz and Jude Schultz, Kimberly Brunner and a special aunt Sandie Metzger..

From birth on, DJ showed his strong will and big heart in everything he did.  His life was short, yet he lived every moment to the fullest.  He had his first tractor ride at 6 months old with his granddad Bruce which led to countless memories spent on the farm.  DJ loved the outdoors, going on adventurous walks with his granddaddy Dave, fishing with his dad, hunting with Ed, and visits with Connie.  He loved sharing his adventures with anyone who would come along.  DJ loved to travel; some of his favorite travels were to see Grandma Rosie, to the beach, flying to England with family, driving to Canada/Niagara Falls with his mother, and his trips to visit his southern family- canoeing with his pawpaw, eating his mawmaw’s delicious cooking, and hanging out with his cousins.  DJ also enjoyed hunting with Ed and visits with Connie and her family.  DJ liked working with wood and making things for others.  He was a collector of many things throughout the years and finding cool rocks seemed to be his favorite.  DJ attended Petersburg High School, where he would show off his talents as an athlete participating in many sports.  His true passion was football.  His freshman year, alongside his Viking brothers, they won the 9th grade football championship. After high school, DJ attended Pierpont Community College.  DJ worked construction on and off and did many odd jobs for others.  Family and friends were most important to DJ.  There are no words to explain the bond he had with each of his siblings. The birth of his son was his most joyous moment ever.  His smile lit the universe the moment he looked into his son’s eyes and he took pride in being a father.  The last years of his life were spent in his home with his great grandmother Helen.  There was a unique bond between the two of them and his home with her is where he remained until he was brought back home into the loving arms of God.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his son, David Zaiden Borror, c/o David Z. Borror, Jr., 115 Haywood Drive, Petersburg, WV 26847.
