David L. Harman

David Lynn Harman, age 66 of Maysville, WV passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home. David was born on September 30, 1955 in Petersburg, WV and was the son of the late Lynn D. Harman and Dorothy L. (Smith) Harman.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Elaine Harman; brother-in-law, James F. Western. David is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Marites (Camaso)Harman; three children, Laramie Harman, Jenny Harman and Ian Harman; step daughter, Mae Frilles; two grandchildren, Kaylee Reynolds and Forest Harman; three sisters, Cathy Harman of Maysville, WV, Brenda Ketterman (Danny) and Lori Western of Maysville, WV; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a 1973 graduate of Petersburg High School. He completed his welding course at South Branch Vocational Center and was a Boilermaker for over 33 years. He was a member of Union Local No. 667 Charleston, WV. Davids hobbies were gardening and being outdoors. He was a talented guitar player and singer, and his love and passion for his family was how he lived his life.

A Private graveside service will be held at the Maysville Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Harman family, c/o Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 North Main Street, Petersburg, WV 26847.
