David P. Champ

 David Paul Champ, known as “Junkman” age 61, of Maysville, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his home.

David was born on August 19, 1959 in Petersburg, WV and was the son of the late Paul Rueben Champ and Ruthlene (Kisamore) Champ. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one nephew, Ricky Bobo.

David is survived by three sisters, Esther (Roger) Champ of Petersburg, WV, Roslie (Virgil) Mallow of Cabins, WV and Brenda (Charles) Kesner of Petersburg, WV; four nieces, Monica Carpenter, Amber (Samuel) Cook, Heather Lewis and Hanna Lewis; one nephew, Larry (Misti) Carpenter; 2 great nieces, Gracie Carpenter and Skyler Cook; 4 great nephews, Jeremy Whetzel, Connar Carpenter, Elijah Cook and Matthew Cook.

David was a member of the Brick Church of the Brethren in Maysville, WV.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 9:00 AM in North Fork Mennonite Cemetery, Petersburg, WV with the Rev. Carroll G. Junkins officiating.
