Curtis K. Nobles

Curtis K. Nobles, age 76, of Alexandria, VA and formerly of Maysville, WV died on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Fairfax Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Fairfax, VA.

 Curtis was born September 8, 1943 in McColl, SC and was a son of the late King David Nobles and Martha (Taylor) Nobles.

  In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances (Harper) Nobles in 2017; one daughter, Debbie Nobles Shifflett, an infant grandson, Wesley Whitlock and an infant great grandson, Steven Ivey III, one brother, Ned Nobles and three sisters, Patsy Nobles, Geneva Nobles Waters and Joann Nobles Stahl.  

Curtis is survived by one son, Curtis  (Ashley)Neal Nobles of Hedgesville, WV; two daughters, Wanda (Henri) Nobles-Clover of Alexandria, VA and Jaynie Nobles of Maysville, WV; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Everett Nobles of Scotland Neck, NC and Coy Nobles of Rocky Mount, NC; one sister, Sylvia Nobles of Fredericksburg, VA.

Curtis was a barber in Petersburg for several years.

Curtis’s cremated remains will be inurned beside his wife in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Maysville, WV.
