Cheryl L. (McRobie) Cosner

Cheryl Lynn (McRobie) Cosner, age 61 of Mt. Storm, WV passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Cheryl was born on July 24, 1962 in Oakland, Maryland and was a daughter of the late Eugene Martin McRobie and Arlena Aredene (Sherwood) McRobie.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, David Wesley Cosner in 2016; one infant sister, Sherry Ann McRobie; two brothers, Richard Eugene McRobie and Carroll Lee McRobie.

Cheryl is survived by three sisters, Ava M. McRobie of Mt. Storm, WV, Linda D. McRobie (Lawrence Frazier) of Elkton, VA and Barbara J. Pancake (Gerald) of Keyser, WV; three brothers, Kevin M. McRobie (Kay) of Elk Garden, WV, Dale E. McRobie (Ann) of Elk Garden, WV and Jerry F. McRobie of Mt. Storm, WV; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Natasha M. McRobie, who was considered as a daughter; two step sons, Gerald “Jerry” Cosner and Scott Cosner; three step grandchildren, Ryan Cosner, Nathan Cosner and Shawn Cosner.

Cheryl was a graduate of Elk Garden High School.  She was a member of Locust Grove Church on Bismarck Road,  Mt. Storm, WV.  She was a former employee at the former Stain Glass Restaurant in Mt. Storm, WV.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Locust Grove Church with Pastor Kevin Staggs and Pastor James Reed officiating.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till time of service at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
