Carol Sue (Mallow) Turner, age 73, of Cabins, WV passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.
She was born April 13, 1946 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Harry Vance and Kate Mallow. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Roland L. Turner in 2015; one sister-in-law, Maxine Ours.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Kandy Turner of Chester, PA, two brothers, Dice (Carol) Mallow of Petersburg, WV; Roy (Judy) Mallow of Maysville, WV; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Ours of Cabins, WV and Delores Keplinger of Maysville, WV; and her grand-dog, Buddy.
Carol was a devoted wife and mother. She was a caregiver for her family and others in Pendleton County. She was a former employee of Joan Curtis Manufacturing in Petersburg.
The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to Carol’s caregiver, Dale Vance.
Carol’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January,16, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11 AM at Schaeffer Funeral Home with Colleen Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mallow Cemetery, Timberidge, WV.
