Beverly A. (Turner) Kile

Beverly Ann (Turner) Kile, age 75 of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

Beverly was born on December 8, 1947 in Huntingdon, PA and was the daughter of the late Boyd Turner and Nora Burnell (Simmons) Turner. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Steve Turner and Jeffrey Craig Turner.

Beverly is survived by her husband William “Bill” Kile; a son, Dr. John Thomas "JT" Swick of Hummelstown, PA; a stepdaughter, Cassandra Richards (David) of Shamong. NJ; a granddaughter, Ziva Swick of Hummelstown, PA; two step granddaughters, Emily Richards and Chelsea Richards of Shamong, NJ;  two brothers, Gerald J. Turner and Timothy Turner, both of Keyser, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was a hairdresser for more than 50 years and was the owner/operator of Shampoo Hair salon in Petersburg.  She was a member of the American Legion Post 78 Ladies Auxiliary for 42 years and was a Past President of Post 78 Ladies Auxiliary.  

Beverly’s family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6 - 8 pm at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.  Those who wish to remember Beverly in a special way may make memorial contributions to the American Legion Post 78 Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 539, Petersburg, WV.
