Betty J. (VanMeter) Rexroad

Betty J. (VanMeter) Rexroad, age 84, of Petersburg, WV  went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in her home while under Hospice Care surrounded by her four daughters, Rosa, Carole, Gail and Linda.

Petersburg, WV native, she was born on January 30, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles S and Rosa Ellen (Moyers) VanMeter. 

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lyle C. Rexroad Sr. in 2002; three brothers, Freddie, Forrest and a twin, Robert VanMeter;  her sister, Phyllis Mongold - Haynes and her granddaughter, Rhonda VanMeter Nail.

 Betty is survived by four daughters, Rosa, Carole, Gail and Linda; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Alt of Franklin, WV and one brother, Fritz Weasenforth of Moorefield, WV.  

Due to the present health concerns, there will be no public visitation. A Graveside Service will be Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV with Pastor Coleen Clark.
