Anthony Earl Sites, age 56 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Saturday December 16, 2023 at his home.
Born on July 26, 1967 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Sylvia Jean (Thorne) Sites of Petersburg, WV and the late Chester D. Sites, Sr.
In addition to his father, Anthony was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Kenneth Wayne Sites and Bruce Dwayne Sites.
Anthony is survived by one son, Marcus A. Sites (Lauren) of Petersburg, WV one daughter, Samantha L. Sites Burns (Matthew) of Alderson, WV; four grandchildren, Alyssa Burns, Tyler Burns, Maxton Sites and Roman Sites; two brothers, Chester D. Sites Jr. (Carol) Moorefield, WV, Dennis L. Sites (Janet) of Kingwood, WV; his girlfriend, Sheila Simmons, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a 1985 graduate of Petersburg High School. He was a master service technician for Southern States after 30 plus years. Recently he worked at Cline’s Furniture in Petersburg, WV. He was a member of Brake Covenant Brethren Church. His passion and hobby was riding his motorcycle and spending time at the Crites farm river lot. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the great outdoors. Anthony was a wonderful son, father, brother and pawpaw to his grandchildren.
During his father’s extended illness he was a devoted caretaker and continued this care for his mother.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Howard officiating.
Anthony’s family will receive friends from 11 AM till time of service at 1.
Burial will be in North Mill Creek Cemetery, Dorcas, WV
