Alva L. Sites

 Alva Lee Sites, age 80 formerly of Petersburg, WV died on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at E.A. Hawse Healthcare Center in Baker, WV.

Alva was born on May 27, 1945 in Harrisonburg, VA and was a son of the late Earl Lee Sites and Erslie Beulah (Bergdoll) Sites. In addition to his parents, Alva was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry E. Sites.

Alva is survived by his sister-in-law, Janet (Dolly) Sites of Cabins, WV, one niece, Kimberly Roy and husband Jamie of Old Fields, WV, one great nephew, Tyler Allen Roy.

Alva served in the United States Army as a Combat Signaler and Missile Crewmember. Later he was owner and operator of Moorefield TV and continued his business after moving to Petersburg and worked for the Petersburg Radio Shack for several years.

In Honoring Alva’s wishes, his body was donated to the West Virginia Human Gift Registry in Morgantown, WV. There will be no services.
