Aileen (Keplinger) Porter

Aileen (Keplinger) Porter, age 72 of Maysville, WV passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home.

She was born October 20, 1947 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Stanley Thomas Keplinger and Clara Dorothy (Rohrbaugh) Keplinger Rohrbaugh.  In addition to her parents, Aileen was preceded in death by four brothers,  Gary Keplinger, Dale Keplinger, Gerald Keplinger and Leonard Keplinger.

 Aileen was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family, reading and working in the garden.  She was a member of Maysville Bible Brethren Church.

 Aileen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry M. Porter; one daughter, Suenette Barr and husband Donnie of Petersburg, WV; one son, Marshall H. Porter of Rio, WV;  six grandchildren Ashton, Riley and Chloe Barr, Addison, Lanie and Sadie Porter; one great grandson, Rayden; five sisters, Dorothy Gillespie of Mt. Storm, WV, Rose Wratchford and husband Larry of Petersburg, WV, Thelma Kuykendall and husband Sloan of Buckhannan, VA, Madaline Hoffard of Westminster, MD and Linda Hedrick and husband Leroy of Maysville, WV.

 The family will receive friends from Noon till 2 PM, September 27, 2020 at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg where funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM with Pastor Lynn Durbin officiating.  Burial will follow at Lahmansville Cemetery in Lahmansville, WV. 

 Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, all individuals entering the funeral home will be required to maintain social distancing and wear face covering at all times.
