Stoney Hartman Obituary
Stoney Roscoe Hartman, age 64, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Petersburg, WV, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Richmond, VA.
Stoney is the son of the late Ralph R. Hartman and Wilda (Wimer) Hartman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Mathias Hartman.
He was a retired United States Postal Service Employee.
Stoney is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherry Hartman; his daughter Tarina Scotidas and husband David; his son Jeremy Hartman and wife Erin; his granddaughters Sasha and Tia Brady; and his grandsons Jaxon Hartman, Nikos Scotidas and Thadaeus Hartman.
Stoney will be remembered by his uncanny ability to captivate a room with his stories, his love of his children and grandchildren, and his loving devotion to his wife to whom he was with for 46 years.
A graveside service will be held in remembrance of his life on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, WV.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
