Shirley Borror Obituary
Shirley Frances Borror, age 81, of Petersburg, WV died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.
She was born August 13, 1935 in Harrisonburg, VA and was a daughter of the late Kennie Oliver Lough and Leona Katherine (Greenawalt) Lough.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland W. Borror on August 16, 1986.
Mrs. Borror was a member of Gordon Chapel United Methodist Church.
Shirley is survived by two sons, Roger (Brenda) Borror of Petersburg, WV and Lonnie (Eva) Borror of Petersburg, WV; one daughter, Carolyn (Michael) Wonders of Ridgeley, WV; five grandchildren, Jodi Borror (Jason) Bell, Roger Borror II, Kimberly Borror (Brenton) Ebert, Trevor Wonders and Hannah Wonders; five great grandchildren, Olivia Bell, Ethan Bell, Liam Bell, Maelee Bell and Mia Borror; one sister, Betty Jean (Gail) Smith of Upper Tract, WV; several brothers and sisters -in-law and nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Cecil and Pastor Gary Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gordon Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Linda and Doug Borror, P.O. Box 644, Petersburg, WV 26847.
