James Ours Obituary
James Ronald "Peanut" Ours, age 57, of Cabins, WV passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.
He was born June 26, 1959 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Norma L. (Snyder) Ours of Cabins, WV and the late Ronald E. Ours.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Ours and maternal grandparents, Roy and Emily Delawder.
James attended Petersburg High School and was a member of the wrestling team. "Peanut" was a carpenter and attended the Faith Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed horseback riding and driving his Chevy Cruze.
"Peanut" is survived by his mother, Norma L. (Snyder) Ours of Cabins, WV; one son, Barry Haines and wife, Pam of Moorefield, WV; one grandson, Lucas Haines; one brother, Tim and wife, Patsy of Petersburg, WV; one sister, Lynn Ours of Cabins, WV; two nieces, Natasha Guerrero and Kassidy Haslacker and two nephews, Derek Ours and Corey Kimble and several great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017, from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Aaron A. Davidson officiating. Interment will be private on Monday, February 13, 201 in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, WV.
