Irene Iman Obituary
Irene Rose (Riggleman) Iman, age 91, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Mrs. Iman was born June 10, 1926 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Roy G. Riggleman and Mary Susan (Simmons) Riggleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Iman on May 27, 2009; one daughter, Nona Kimble; one grandson, Jeremy Kimble; two sons-in-law, Dallas Kimble and Archie Veach; six sisters, Nellie Weatherholtz, Blanche Crites, Ruth Hyre, Vista Eskridge, Mary Ellen Mauzy and Dixie Mauzy; five brothers, Glen Riggleman, Elvin Riggleman, Calvin Riggleman, Forest "Hoby" Riggleman and Roy Riggleman, Jr.
Mrs. Iman was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Irene is survived by three daughters, Barbara Veach of Medley, WV; Delia & Woody Cullers of Petersburg, WV and Eva & Lonnie Borror of Petersburg, WV; five grandchildren, Jerry & Gayann Veach, Rodney & Lynette Veach, Matthew & Jodee Cullers, Jason & Shelly Cullers and Kimberly & Brenton Ebert; eight great grandchildren, Hayley & Aaron Kessel, Ethan Cullers, Dalton Veach, Nathan Veach, Sidney Cullers, Kayla Veach, Seth Cullers and Aiden Kimble; and one great-great grandson, Kayson Kessel.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. January 30, 2018 at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday 2:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Rita Beeman and Rev. Harold Cullers officiating.
Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Safe Harbor Program, c/o Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center, 127 Early Avenue, Petersburg, WV 26847.
