Edith L. Pruitt

Edith Louise ( Weatherholtz) Pruitt, age 56, of 1176 Max Baer Road, Lahmansville, WV passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

She was born April 2, 1960 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Charley William Weatherholtz and Iva Grace (Zirk) Weatherholtz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lester "Bud" Weatherholtz on January 12, 2017.

Edith and her husband, "Rick" moved to Lahmansville, WV from North Wilkesboro, NC. in the Spring of 2016. Edith's love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Edith is survived by her husband, Richard G. "Rick" Pruitt of Lahmansville, WV; one daughter, Amy S. (Chris) Kisamore of Lahmansville, WV, two sons, Andrew J. (Patrick) Kisamore of Lahmansville, WV and Adam W. (Teresa) Kisamore of Lahmansville, WV; five grandchildren, Alexis Kisamore, Paige Kisamore, Hunter Kisamore, Linkin Woods and Austin Kisamore; four brothers: Chester Weatherholtz of Lahmansville, WV, John Weatherholtz of Williamsport, WV, David Weatherholtz of Petersburg, WV and Billy "Buck" Weatherholtz of Lahmansville, WV.
seven sisters: Margaret Reed of Moorefield, WV, Barbara Nesselrodte of Petersburg, WV, Rose Rexroad of Gassaway, WV, Euince "June" Weatherholtz of Petersburg, WV, Rebecca Pennington of Lahmansville, WV, Emily Dean of Romney, WV and Betty "Sis" Meek of Williamsport, WV.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Calvin Redman officiating. Interment will be in the Weatherholtz Family Cemetery in Lahmansville, WV.
