Robert Dale Idleman

Robert Dale Idleman, age 83, of Maysville, WV passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home.  He was born October 15, 1935 in Mt. Storm, WV and was the son of the late Isaac Scott Idleman and Pauline Virginia (Wilson) Idleman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lora Sue Idleman and one brother, Joseph Claude Idleman. 

Mr. Idleman is survived by his wife of 57 years, Angie L. (Hanlin) Idleman; one son, Jeffrey Dale Idleman of Maysville, WV; one daughter, Mary Simmons and husband Garry  of Scherr, WV; two grandchildren, Jacob and Haley Simmons.

Mr. Idleman was a graduate of Bayard High School Class of 1953 and served in the United States Army.  He was a heavy equipment mechanic.  He attended the Brick Church of the Brethren in Maysville, WV. 

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Spaid officiating.    Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in Mt. Storm Cemetery, Mt. Storm, WV.
