Marisa L. Moyers

 Marisa Louise Moyers, age 37 of Cabins, WV passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

 Marisa was born October 20, 1982 in Elkins, WV and was the daughter of Donald Ray Moyers and Patricia Ann (Parsons) Moyers of Maysville, WV, and biological mother, Diana Lynn Parsons of Cabins, WV and late biological father, Donald “Don” White. Also surviving  one son, Hunter Largent, Jr. (Hunter Largent) of Moorefield, WV and one daughter, Nadia Jade Swick (Xavier Swick) of Maysville, WV; two sisters, Marcee (Tim) Kesner of Lahmansville, WV and Marenda (Benji) McKay of Logan County, WV; two brothers, Butch (Rachel) Moyers of Maysville, WV and Michael (Gwen) Moyers of Maysville, WV; half -sister, Jodi White of Moorefield, WV and half -brother, Drew White of Moorefield, WV; numerous nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn and Kaleb Kesner, Madison McKay, Ethan and Hannah Moyers, and Chase and Lacey Moyers; two half nieces, Freyja Cullers and Izzy Wratchford and two half nephews; Carter Thompson and Donivan White; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; also a special  family Allen “Bub” and Barbara Clark of Maysville, WV.

Marisa was a graduate of Petersburg High School Class of 2001 and was formerly an employee of Pilgrims Pride in Moorefield, WV and Pizza Hut in Petersburg, WV.

Marisa was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Richard and “Orpha “Sue”  Moyers; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Mary Parsons, uncle, Richard Lee “Dickie” Moyers and cousin, Jordan Miller.

Marisa was a tender hearted and loving person. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved children and all her nieces and nephews and they all loved her.  Later on in her short life, Marisa dealt with addiction and she tried so hard to get past all of that.  Her family loved her unconditionally through her life and she will be missed greatly. 

Marisa’s family will be having a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Cornerstone Family Fellowship with Pastor P. J. Landis officiating.
