Laura Arvella Catherine Sinnett, age 89, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 23, 1929 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Roy Edward Wratchford and Helen Virginia (Mongold) Wratchford. In addition to her parents, Arvella was preceded in death by her husband Albert Keith Sinnett on October 14, 1990; her grandson, Jonathan Kimble; great-great grandson, Carter Bentley; two brothers, Richard Wayne Wratchford and Ralph Junior Wratchford and one sister, Gloria Eileen Riley.
Arvella was a loving mother. She was a homemaker, waitress, cook and baked for Jennies Restaurant, City Restaurant and National Lunch in Petersburg for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to bowl , play bingo, shop and watch game shows.
Arvella is survived by one son, Gary Wayne Wratchford and wife Robin of Shepherdstown, WV; three daughters, Jean Boucher and husband Ken of Cabins, WV; Debbie Kimble and husband Trent of Lahmansville, WV and Kelly Long and husband Jeremy of Petersburg, WV; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Sue Myers of Martinsburg, WV, Helen Humphries and Linda Michael both of Moorefield, WV and three brothers, Gary and Johnny Wratchford in Virginia and Warren Wratchford of Petersburg, WV.
Friends will be received from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. A Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM Monday, October 1, 2018 in the Schaeffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating. Burial will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
