Josephine (Reed) Rohrbaugh, age 72, of Maysville, WV passed away Saturday at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg. WV.

She was born October 15, 1946 in Lahmansville, WV and was a daughter of the late Edgar Parker Reed and Ruth Mae (Heavener) Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Jones Reed, and a half- brother Robert Reed and an infant sister, Eva June Reed.

Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Melvin B. Rohrbaugh, two daughters; Carolyn S. VanMeter and husband Paul of Maysville, WV and JoAnn Ketterman and husband Billy of Maysville. WV; one son, Melvin (Bruce) Rohrbaugh, Jr. and wife Jamie of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Tammy Ayers, Samantha Delawder, Elijah Rohrbaugh; two great grandchildren, Daphne Ayers and Sophia Thorne; four sisters, Mary Powell of Frederick, MD, Margie Saville and husband Wendell of Rio, WV, June Huffman and husband Alan of Seneca Rocks, WV and Linda Ours and husband Mickey of Cabins, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Staff of Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center for all their love and care given to Josephine these past years.

Josephine was a homemaker and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and singing gospel hymns. She enjoyed talking with others and never met a stranger. She was a member of Falls Assembly of God Church in Maysville, WV.

Family will receive friends Monday, April 8, 2018 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV

Funeral service will be 11 AM on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Falls Assembly of God Church, Maysville, WV with the Rev. Vivan Watts and the Rev. Coleman Clark officiating. Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
