Gordon "Gordy" Redman

Gordon Ray ”Gordy” Redman, age 60, of Dorcas, WV died on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

“Gordy” was born August 15, 1959 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Jobe Mckinley Redman and Agnes Ardella (Gaiter) Redman.  In addition to his parents, “Gordy” was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick “Freddy” Redman, Lawrence “Nink” Redman and Joseph “Joker” Redman; an infant sister, Vivian Redman and step granddaughter, Brittany Kline. 

“Gordy” is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” (Kline) Redman; two step sons, Matthew Kline of Petersburg, WV and Jamie Kline of Staunton, VA; two step daughters, Kelly Kline of Petersburg, WV and Billi Jo “B. J. Kline of Indiana; 12 step grandchildren and 1 step great  granddaughter;  one sister, Thersa Redman Fazenbaker of Ohio; one brother, Wayne Redman of Baltimore; numerous aunts and uncles, including Calvin and Hazel Redman of Petersburg and Suellen Clay of Keyser, WV; nieces, nephews and cousins including Will and Melba Thorne of Martinsburg, WV and "Woody" Calvin Redman of Petersburg, WV.

According to “Gordy’s” wishes, his body will be cremated and a Memorial  Service will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Petersburg with Pastor Calvin Redman, Sr. officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 North Main Street, Petersburg, WV 26847.
