Dorene J. (Junkins) Kitzmiller

Dorene Jeanette (Junkins) Kitzmiller age 86 of Mt. Storm, WV passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Grant Co. Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.

She was born March 1,1933 Emoryville, WV and a daughter of the late Clarence G. Junkins and Priscilla A. (Kuhn) Junkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Kitzmiller.

Dorene is survived by four daughters, Pamela (Richard) Stanton of N. C. Sharon Whetzel (Jerry) of Petersburg, WV, Bonita (Steve) Jackson of Wardensville, WV and Joni (Clyde) Hinkle of Petersburg, WV;  eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, James Junkins and Milford Junkins both of Mt. Storm and numerous nephews and one niece.

Dorene enjoyed feeding the wildlife, singing, tutoring, and an advocate for the rights of others. She retired from Dominion Power and was a member of Calvary Temple Church of Mt. Storm, WV.

Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Temple Church, Mt. Storm, WV on Saturday, January 11 at 11 O’clock.
