Debora L. Hedrick

Debora Lynn Hedrick, age 58, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Grant Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 10, 1960 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of Robert Carl Sites of Riverton, WV and Judy Jane (VanMeter) Helmick of Petersburg, WV.

Debora was preceded in death by one son, Christopher in 2011.

Debora graduated from Circleville High School in 1978 and WVU School of Nursing in 1983. For the past 32 years, she has worked in various nursing positions.
She served as Upper West Virginia District Governor in 2008 and 2014. She was a member of the Landes Ruritan Club, Gordon Chapel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women's Group and the Landes CEOS Club. She served on the Grant County Board of Education and many other organizations.

Debora is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brook Junior Hedrick, daughter, Heather and husband Dave Adams of Petersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Emily Adams and Christopher Adams; two step daughters, Amy Smith and husband Mark of Moorefield, WV and Stephanie Barger and husband Jamie of Petersburg, WV; several step grandchildren; three sisters, Shelby Kuh of Martinsburg, WV, Barbie Stickley and husband Brian of Fisher, WV and Melissa Earle and husband Shannon of Petersburg, WV; one brother, Robert Carl Sites II and wife Kenya of Moorefield, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13th from 2 -4 & 6 - 8 p.m.at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor David Webb and Rev. Rita Beeman officiating. Burial will be in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV.
