Carol W. (Judy) Beck

Carol Wayne (Judy) Beck, age 75, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her home. Carol was born January 24, 1944 in Pansy, WV and was a daughter of the late Kermit Oliver Judy and Pearl Gladys (Landis) Judy.  In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Randall Kermit Judy and James Oliver Judy; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Judy, Juanita Judy and Judith Judy.

Carol is survived by her husband, Charles Theodore Beck

Three daughters –

   Kathy Daniels and fiancé Bryan Hedrick of Petersburg, WV

   Diane Harlow of Petersburg, WV

   Jody and husband William Kenneth Stottlemyer of Hancock, MD

Twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren

Two sisters –  

Beverly K. Halterman and husband Gene of New Creek, WV 

 Dotty L. Oates and husband Jerry of Petersburg, WV

 One brother –

Gerald Neil Judy of Petersburg, WV

 One sister-in-law-

Maggie Judy of Petersburg, WV

 Several nieces and nephews.

  Carol graduated from Petersburg High School Class of 1961.  She worked for Monarch Mills, Hi-Vac and Grant County PSD for several years.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Petersburg, WV.   

   Family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 8:00  PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.                  

  Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 5 Pine Street, Petersburg, WV with the Rev. Daniel Warntz officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, WV. 

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Joyce Judy Scholarship Fund, c/o of Grace Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 385, Petersburg, WV 26847 or Mountain Hospice, 1002 S. Crim Avenue, Belington, WV 26250.
