Sabina M. Fowler

Sabina Maria Fowler. age 58, of Falls Church, VA died on Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was born September 16, 1958 at Stevens Clinic Hospital, Welch, WV. Sabina is the daughter of Agnes Clark Fowler of Maysville, WV and was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Roger Fowler in 2012.

Sabina moved to Cincinnati, Ohio when she was 2 years old and graduated from Regina High School in 1976. After earning a BA degree in Political Science with honors from Xavier University in 1980, she moved to Washington DC. Her 35 year career began with Atlantic Bell, continued with AT&T, and ended with Verizon. The highlight of her career was a Commendation from President George Bush for her work with the 55th Presidential Inauguration in 2005. She retired in 2015 and resided in Falls Church, Va. All who knew Sabina will remember her as a gentle, generous and fun-loving person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Sabina is survived by her mother, Agnes Clark Fowler of Maysville, WV and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Christian Mass was celebrated in Falls Church, VA. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, WV with Father Manning officiating. Interment will follow in the Maysville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
