Ruth Keplinger Obituary
Ruth A. Keplinger, age 72, of Maysville, WV passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.
She was born October 27, 1944 in Landes, WV and was a daughter of the late Arthur "Taft" Borror and Minnie (George) Borror.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Roger L. Keplinger on June 11, 2011; six brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Keplinger graduated from Petersburg High School in 1964. Ruth retired from Grant County Board of Education after 34 years of service. She was an active member of the Maysville Fireman's Auxilary and was a 4-H leader for several years. Ruth enjoyed being a homemaker, reading, farming and her flowers. She was a member of the Grove Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg.
Mrs. Keplinger is survived by one daughter, Vicki Hudgins and her husband Eric of Maysville, WV; one grandson, Parker Hudgins; four sisters, Shirley Cook of Maysville, WV, Phyllis Shook, Wanda Ellis and Pat Parker all of Petersburg, WV; one brother, Doug Borror of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Durbin officiating. Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
The family is most grateful for the treatment, care and concern from the staff of the Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.
