Ronald Redman Obituary
Ronald Lewis Redman, age 80, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home.
He was born November 12, 1937 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Pastor Percy McGuire Redman and Lillian Rosetta Redman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte (Wright) Redman; one son, Zachery Redman; an infant daughter, Zandra Redman; one sister, Celestine Redman and one brother, Kenneth Redman.
Mr. Redman retired from Franklin Garment Company in Franklin, WV and had worked for the City of Petersburg for several years. He was a member of the former Gospel Temple Church in Petersburg.
Mr. Redman is survived by his longtime companion, Melissa Hott; one grandson, Colin Redman of Maysville, WV; three sisters, Naomi Redman, Gretchen Bruce and Karen Wright and husband Conway, all of Petersburg, WV; four brothers, Percy Redman and Gary Redman, Sr. of Petersburg, WV, Leroy Redman and Ricky Redman, Sr and wife Debra all of Stanton, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastor Karen Wright officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
