Ronald Brill Obituary
Ronald Irving Brill, age 82, of 42 Upper Deer Trail, Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1934 in Washington, D.C. and was the son of the late Claude Ervin Brill and Mary Elizabeth (Peer) Brill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brother-in-laws, Emory Alt, Eldon Alt, Denver Alt and 2 sister-in-laws, Arvella Kimble and Pearl Brakeiron.
Mr. Brill retired from the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 4493, Candler, FL. He was a member of B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 1135 in Elkins, WV.
Ronald is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary A. (Alt) Brill; several cousins, brother-in-laws, Delmar Alt and wife Frances, William Alt, and Earl Alt all of Petersburg, WV and sister-in-law, Edna Alt of Petersburg, WV.
Family will receive friends Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cantu officiating.
Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery with military rites by the Petersburg VFW Post 6454 and U.S. Army.
