Rhoda Mae (Goldizen) Warner, age 82, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA.
She was born January 2, 1934 in Jordan Run, WV and was the daughter of the late Aaron Christian Goldizen and Lura Irene (Barger) Goldizen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delton Snively Warner on March 26, 1959; one granddaughter, Amy Warner; son-in-law, Joseph Hartman; three sisters, Rose Feaster, Lucy Barger and Goldie Heavener; and two brothers, Robert B. Goldizen and Arlie J. Goldizen.
Rhoda was a homemaker and attended the Crossroads Community Church in Maysville, WV.
Mrs. Warner is survived by two daughters, Lisa G. Hartman of Moorefield, WV and Delta S. Hedrick and husband Mark of Petersburg, WV; two sons, David W. Warner and wife, Linda of Mt Storm, WV and Randy Warner of Petersburg, WV ; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Goldizen of Cabins, WV and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Community Church, Maysville, WV with Rev. Charles Lomasney officiating.
