Orville Bradley Cook

Orville Bradley Cook, age 53 of 16 Edgar Street, Petersburg, WV passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 19, 1961 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Orville Ezra Cook and Anna Merle (Keplinger) Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Edgar J. L. Vance.

Brad attended Petersburg High School and was a self employed contractor. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a craftsman and loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He attended the Petersburg First Baptist Church.

Brad is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra V. (Vance) Cook, one son, Nathan Bradley Cook; one grandson, Kyler Bradley Cook; mother-in-law, Louise B. Vance of Petersburg, WV; six sister, Barbara Clark of Maysville, WV; Carol Swick of Petersburg, WV, Marlene Nelson of Cabins, WV, Tonia Crites of Moorefield, WV, Jodie Cook of Petersburg, WV, Holly Cook of Petersburg, WV; five brothers, Ronnie Cook of Petersburg, WV, Doug Cook of Petersburg, WV, Brent Cook of Petersburg, WV, Barry Cook of Petersburg, WV and Mark Cook of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Wednesday (April 1, 2015) at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating. Interment will be in the North Mill Creek Cemetery at Dorcas, WV.
