Ollie Mongold Obituary
Ollie Mae "Toodle" (Crites) Mongold, age 88, of Petersburg, WV went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born October 25, 1927 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Wilda (Wratchford) Crites and the late Clinton "Dooch" Crites.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter and three brothers, Darl "Ted" Crites, Carl Crites and Larry Crites.
She had been employed by the Hardy County Child Day Care where everyone knew her as Grandma. She loved caring for the babies. She was a member of Rig Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years,Donald Mongold Sr. of Petersburg, WV; two sons, Donald Mongold Jr. and wife Maggie of Florida and Kevin Mongold and wife Misty of Petersburg, WV; ten grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Crites) Sherman and Lucille (Crites) Shupe, both of Moorefield, WV; five brothers, Kenneth "Sonny" Crites, Norris Junior Crites, Garry G. Crites, Virgil L. Crites, all of Petersburg, WV; Curtis Crites of Moorefield,WV; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Rig Assembly of God Church in Rig, WV with Pastor Bradley Taylor officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Ollie M. Mongold to the Hardy County Child Day Care Center, 1989 State Road 55, Moorefield, WV 26836.
