Mary Hileman Obituary
Mary Ann (Barr) Hileman, age 78, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Saturday,
June 6, 2015 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA.
She was born June 8, 1936 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Walter Barr and Nina Wilda (Feaster) Mongold Barr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hileman; ten brothers, Odell Barr, Wendell Barr, William Barr, Donald Barr, Vernon Barr and infants, Charles and Haven Barr; Homer "Max" Mongold, John Henry "Dick" Mongold and William "Bill" Mongold; and eight sisters, Virginia Evans, Eva Hefner, Odessa Hedrick, Nola George , Georgiana Sherman, Mildred Riggleman, Imogene Buckley and Ruby Getz.
Mrs. Hileman graduated from Moorefield High School and was a clerk for the former Highs Convenient Store in Riverdale, MD. She was a member of Corner United Methodist Church in Cabins, WV.
Mary Ann is survived by one daughter, Susan Riedel and husband, Philip of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Paul White, Sara Riedel and Ashley Riedel; one great granddaughter, Madison Michele Riedel; one brother, Earl "Bub" Mongold of Broadway, VA and one sister, Ramona Evans, resident of Grant County Nursing Home, Petersburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Newhouse Cemetery in Rig, WV with Rev Joseph Gerstell officiating. Interment will be in the Newhouse Cemetery.
