Mary Crites Obituary
Mary Kathleen Crites, age 76, formerly of Dorcas, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Hampshire Health Care Center in Romney, WV where she resided since 2012.
She was born March 8, 1940 in Keyser, WV and was the daughter of the late Roy Edward Crites and Lucy Viola (Burgess) Crites.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Roy C. Crites, Glenville Crites, Victor Crites and Leon Crites and an infant brother; two sisters, Viola Miller and Mildred Troy.
Ms. Crites was protestant by faith.
Mary is survived by three sisiters, Jeanette Keplinger of Moorefield, WV, Sudie Rinker and husband Charles of Purgitsville, WV and Rebecca E. Hinkle of Mt .Storm, WV; one brother, Willis Crites and wife Mary of Harrisonburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gloria Georg officiating. Burial will be in North Mill Creek Cemetery, Dorcas, WV..
Memorial donations may be made to Charity of the Donor's Choice.
