Lois Cassady Obituary
Lois Ann (Lyon) Cassady, age 94, of Lahmansville, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV.
She was born February 10, 1921 in Williamsport, WV and was a daughter of the late David C. and Cora Ellen (Snyder) Lyon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer G. Cassady on October 1, 1977; three sisters, Ava Likens, Merril Wilson and Mary Legore and four brothers, Mac Lyon, Baker Lyon, Arnold Lyon and David Lyon. Mrs. Cassady was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Cassady was a member of Lahmansville United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Rebecca L. Bennett officiating and Steve Blaisdell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Forman Ruritan Club.
