Gwendolyn Kahler Obituary
Gwendolyn Maye (Fultz) Kahler, age 80, of Petersburg, WV and formerly of Lewistown, PA died on Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home.
She was born September 23, 1937 at Lewistown, PA and was the daughter of the late George W. Fultz and Lulubelle (Allen) Fultz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant twin daughters and two half brothers, Richard Biddle and Jack Biddle.
Gwen was a retired Registered Nurse for Potomac Highlands Support Service. She loved living in West Virginia and traveled overseas 17 times during her retirement. Gwen was Lutheran by Faith. She loved her 3 cats, Blackie, Poo and Flopsey and 4 horses and 39 ducks.
Gwen is survived by her companion of 33 years, Stephen H. Harman; two daughters, Vicki Kahler of Henderson, Nevada and Pamela Hrubochak and husband Gary of Lewistown, PA and son, Mark Kahler of Lewistown, PA and grandson, Cliff Conner.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 5- 9 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Epling officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg, WV.
The family suggest that memorials be made to Potomac Highlands Animal Rescue, 940 Corner Road, Cabins, WV 26855.
