Glenna Deneault Obituary
Glenna Lee Deneault, 98 of Mt. Dora, FL formerly of Petersburg, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Waterman Village Nursing Home in Mt. Dora, FL.
Born November 20, 1918 in Arthur, WV..she was the daughter of the late Millard F. Turner and Minnie Bensenhaver Turner. She was preceded in death by her two loving husbands Arthur J. Wilson & Henry J. (Hank) Deneault. Also one daughter, and son- in-law, Colleen (Wilson) Brill & Jim Brill; two brothers, Clyde Turner and Woodrow Turner and one sister Ethel Cornell.
She was a graduate of Petersburg High School. Mrs. Deneault, along with her late husband owned and operated Deneault's Jewelry Store in Petersburg for many years until their retirement. She was a member of Grove Street United Methodist Church and former member of Valley View Golf Course. She had also been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 78.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Deneault-Fox of Mt. Dora, FL and Dixie (Wilson) Groves of Maysville, WV; Step son Joe Deneault of Charleston, WV ... grandchildren, Steve Brill, Mike Brill, Belinda G. Watkins, Holly G. Alt, Amanda Simmons and Gwen M. Humble; step grandchildren, John Deneault and Carrie Deneault-Groom; great grandchildren, Ashley Brill, Hannah Wingler, Corey Brill, Amber Brill, Derrick Brill, Jonathan Watkins, Taryn Watkins, Patrick Chapman, Joseph Chapman, Abigail Alt, aige Humble, Avery Humble and Sophia Humble; step great grandchildren, Sidney Groom, Sophie Groom and Sully Groom; great- great grandchildren, Tylan Wingler, Laurel Wingler and Ursula Chapman.
A Memorial service will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry A. Hakes and the Rev. Gregory Rotruck officiating. Following the service will be visitation with family and friends, with a meal in the fellowship hall. Graveside service will be at 2:00 at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to Waterman Village Nursing Home, Mt. Dora, FL, or the Grant Co. Library, 18 Mt. View Street, Petersburg, WV 26847.
