Frances Mallow Obituary
Frances Louise (Riley) Mallow, age 76, of Front Royal, VA and formerly of Petersburg, WV died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Evergreen Health and Rehab in Winchester, VA.
She was born December 8, 1940 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Riley and Leafy (Moats) Riley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ralph M. Mallow, Jr.; one brother, Clarence "Pete" Riley and one sister, Ann Marie (Riley) Hartman.
Mrs. Mallow was a Day Care Assistant for Minnieland and Children's World. She retired in 2002. Frances was a member of the Centreville Assembly of God Church, Centreville, VA.
Frances is survived by her husband, Ralph "Pean" M. Mallow, whom she married on July 24, 1959; one son, Joseph P. Mallow of Front Royal, VA; one daughter, Martha (Clifton) Forsyth of Cary, North Carolina; two grandchildren Jason C. Mallow and Rebecca C. Forsyth; four step grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Carol) Riley of Front Royal, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Rose officiating. Interment will be in the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, WV.
