Dora Lee Hawk

Dora Lee (Cosner) Hawk, age 85, of Walkers Ridge, Scherr, WV passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 17, 1928 in Bayard, WV and was a daughter of the late Lysle Cosner and Beatrice (Spiker) Cosner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess W. "Doc" Hawk on January 10, 2005; an infant son, Richard Craig Hawk; one daughter, Rita Hawk Liebig; one brother, Delbert "Bud" Cosner and brother-in-law, Cleo "Jim" Hawk.

Mrs. Hawk was a member of Oak Dale Church of the Brethren. She and her husband were poultry producers for Rockingham Poultry until his death. She was a lovely homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed camping with her family and had a passion for cats.

SURVIVING are two sons, Allen Hawk and wife Linda of Scherr, WV and Matt Hawk and wife Peggy of Scherr, WV; son-in-law, Paul Liebig of Keyser, WV; ten grandchildren, Jeremy Hawk and wife, Jeanie, Misty Hawk Corbin and husband Tony, Carrie Hawk Heavener and husband Dan, J. W. Hawk and wife, Amanda, Jonathan Hawk and wife, Alisha, Dawn Liebig, Erica Liebig and fiancé Tim, and Julie Bosley and husband Devon; Christopher Hawk and wife Iris and Logan Hawk; twenty-four great-grandchildren; special companion, Blondell Arbogast; one sister, Rose Marie Hawk of Scherr, WV and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be Saturday 11 a.m. (March 8, 2014) at the Oak Dale Church of the Brethren with Pastor Mike Bernard and Abe Evans officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be private in the Maysville Cemetery.
