Carlos B. Kimble

Carlos Brown "Cod" Kimble, age 80, of Upper Tract, WV passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Cabins, WV at the home of his daughter, Melinda Donovan.
He was born November 16, 1935 in Brushy Run, WV and was the son of the late Raymond Isaac Kimble and Minnie Susan (Alt) Kimble.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Ray Kimble; Fred Full, who made his home with the Kimble's and was like a brother; son-in-law, Allen Ray "Rusty"Donovan; Father and Mother-in-law, Thomas and Opal Clark.

He was employed by Tri -County Asphalt in Leesburg, VA and retired from B & S Construction in Staunton, VA. He attended Living Water Ministry of Petersburg.

Mr. Kimble is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy J. (Clark) Kimble; one daughter, Melinda Donovan of Cabins, WV; two sons, Tony B. Kimble and wife, Mindy of Maysville, WV and Bradley D. Kimble and wife Cindi of Franklin, WV; eight grandchildren, Rusty Donovan, Tiffany Knight, Jeffrey Kimble, Michelle Adkins, Kaley Kimble, Kelsey Kimble, Kaitlyn Kimble and Kyla Kimble; step granddaughter, Wanda Savage; four great grandchildren, Amelia Donovan, Izaiah Donovan, Lilly Knight and Braedyn Kimble; one brother, Stearl Kimble of Kearneysville, WV; five sisters, Pauline Sherman of Maysville, WV, Elaine Judy of Petersburg WV; Lulubelle Vance of Berryville, VA, Lilamae Mayle of Petersburg, WV and Carolyn Pratt of Old Fields, WV and several nieces and nephews .

Family will receive friends Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastors Allen and Barbara Sisson officiating. Interment will follow in the Maysville Cemetery.
