Bobby Zirk Obituary

Bobby Allen Zirk, age 72, of Petersburg, WV passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 10, 1941 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Noah Zirk and Edith (Weatherholtz) Zirk.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Timothy Crosen and Scott Zirk; two sisters, Margie Lee Gray and Hazel Costello; and five brothers, Johnny, Charles, Newton, James and Larry Zirk.

Bobby was a graduate of Petersburg High School Class of 1960. In 1997 he retired from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC after 26 years of service.
He attended Main Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, WV.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Hardy) Zirk, two daughters, Kathy Crosen and husband Keith of VA and Patty Bernasco and husband Dave of Petersburg, WV; one son, Chas Keplinger and wife Tracy of Petersburg, WV; six grandchildren, Heather Crosen, Steven Zirk, Tylor Bernasco, Devin, Cory, and Brendon Keplinger; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Snoot and Mary Walker of Stephen City, VA and several nieces and nephews including Shawn Zywicki and wife Pam of VA and Cindy Bennett and husband Greg of Circleville, WV.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, WV with Rev. Nathan Epling officiating.
