Betty L. Whetzel

Betty Lou (Arbaugh) Whetzel, age 76, formerly of Moorefield, WV passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Care Center, Baker, WV.
Mrs. Whetzel was born April 30, 1941 in Teter's Gap, Pendleton County, WV. She was a daughter of the late Gordon George Arbaugh and Annie Zernie (Wimer) Arbaugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold R. Whetzel on February 9, 2013; one daughter, Candy Whetzel; three sons, Aaron Ezekiel Whetzel and infants Eddie Arnold Whetzel and Thomas Ray Whetzel; four brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Whetzel was a member of New Life Tabernacle in Moorefield, WV.

Two sons -
Jimmy Ray Whetzel of Greenville, SC
Arnold Israel Whetzel of Moorefield, WV

Three daughters -
Arneitha Acosta of Moorefield, WV
Letty Vera of Reading, PA
Arlena Vera of Leesport, PA

Sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren

Two sisters-
Dorothy Whetzel of Dorcas, WV
Martha Keplinger of Franklin, WV

Family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eugene Whetzel officiating. Interment will be in the Whetzel Family Cemetery on South Mill Creek Road, Rough Run, WV.
